A la vie, à l'amor" exhibition - Miss.Tic

From 27 Jun 2024 to 5 Jan 2025

A la vie, à l'amor, the first monograph by Miss.Tic, who passed away in May 2022, celebrates the poetic force of her work!

A pioneer of French urban art, she was above all a poetess in the city. Her literary, societal and philosophical projects, written in aerosol ink on walls, canvases and metal sheets over a period of more than forty years, are a veritable treasure trove.

Exhibition Cosmos Othoniel or the ghosts of love

From 28 Jun 2025 to 4 Jan 2026

Jean-Michel Othoniel has chosen “Le Canzonière de Pétrarque” as the theme for his exhibition, creating a poetic world dominated by infinite, concise, abstract and marvellous reasoning. The exhibition unfolds like a long sonnet, an adventure punctuated by stations and amorous pilgrimages, all the while leaving room for humor.
A constellation of works
The “OTHONIEL COSMOS or the Ghosts of Love” exhibition has been conceived as a constellation in which each place mutually enriches the other. The Palais des Papes is the sun, around which gravitate the Place du Palais, the Petit Palais-Louvre museum in Avignon, the Pont d'Avignon, the Musée Calvet, the Museum Requien, the Couvent Sainte Claire, a direct tribute to Petrarch (where he fell in love), the new Pommer baths museum and the Collection Lambert.
A poetic journey
The idea of a procession is at the heart of this exhibition. Visitors are invited to navigate from one museum to the next, following the “navigators' doors” created by the artist for each location. These abstract sculptures evoke navigators' crosses, maps of the sky and the movement of stars.
Each museum, each space, becomes a stage in a loving pilgrimage where the past is reinvented under the gaze of a visionary artist.
