As part of the major event “OTHONIEL COSMOS ou les fantômes de l'amour” (OTHONIEL COSMOS or the ghosts of love), artist Jean-Michel Othoniel is taking over 10 institutions and emblematic sites in the papal city, with no fewer than 250 works, including 160 never before seen.

At the Collection Lambert, Othoniel has joined forces with a selection of works from the permanent collection, highlighting some of the greatest names in art of the last 60 years, whose influence has been considerable in the development of his work. Works by Robert Ryman, Sol LeWitt, Donald Judd, Louise Lawler, Roni Horn and Nan Goldin dialogue with a selection of works by Jean-Michel Othoniel, chosen for their formal or narrative proximity to the Avignon collection.
