Yvon Lambert has donated to the French State an exceptional collection of major works from the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. Housed in two magnificent 18th-century townhouses in the heart of Avignon, the Collection Lambert presents ambitious exhibitions and a varied cultural and educational program, with the support of the French State, the City of Avignon, the Region, the Département and private sponsors.
- Photographs are permitted without flash
- Bags and bulky items must be placed in the lockers provided free of charge.
- Last admission: 30 minutes before closing
- Hall evacuation: 10 minutes before closing time
- The museum is closed on January 1, May 1 and December 25, and on Mondays and Tuesdays except in July and August.
- Admission and Exit: admission ticket valid for the whole day

FreeThe Lambert Collection welcomes students, students of the ARC scenography exhibition of the Pavillon Bosio (École supérieure d'Art de la Ville de Monaco) for a scenography project within the permanent collections invented from a selection of works from the Avignon fonds. Inspired by the world of playground, the project directly resonates with the works by making the views of the child and the adult coexist.

Kim Gordon - Stories for a body

FreeIcon of rock, fashion and contemporary art since the 1980s, Kim Gordon has been invited to present his paintings, video installations, photos and performances as part of a project bringing together three major institutions of the Region — the Lambert Collection, the Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles and the Avignon Festival.

FreeIn the framework of the Antichambre de l ́été programme – which honours young local artists – Melika Sadeghzadeh, an Iranian artist who lives and works in Montpellier, will reveal a delicate sculptural work, evoking the violence of memory and oblivion.
