From October 15 to mid-April, Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm (tour lasts 1 hour) 

From mid-April to mid-October

daily from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm

Open on Mondays in July and August, open on Whit Monday
Closed on May 1st, December 25th, January 1st and from January 6th to 19th
Last admission: 30 minutes before closing time 

For the Bookshop: From 11am to the close of the monument. Closed Mondays and Sundays
For the Library Café: Tuesday to Saturday, from 1:30 pm to monument closing time. From April to September, the café is also open on Sundays.

    •  With your own bike: bike racks are installed in the entrance lane to La Chartreuse
  • From June 20 to September 1, from 10:00 am, free shuttle service from the Piot relay parking lot to the historic center of Villeneuve Lez Avignon and tourist sites (The Chartreuse stop).  Click on the following link for timetables https://www.orizo.fr/se-deplacer/horaires/depliants-horaires-ete-2024
    • From the A7, take the "Avignon nord" exit, follow Avignon Centre then Villeneuve lez Avignon over the "Pont Daladier" bridge, then turn right towards Villeneuve Centre. Continue for approx. 1 km, then go straight on at the traffic circle, round the Fort Saint-André to the traffic lights. La Chartreuse parking lot (3) is on your left.
    • From the A9, take the "Remoulins" exit, then follow signs for Avignon and Villeneuve lez Avignon
  • 35 min from Porte de l'Oulle (Avignon city center) to La Chartreuse

Art exhibition with artistic residency Echangeur22

Once again this year, La Chartreuse de Villeneuve-lez-Avignon has entrusted Échangeur22 with the programming of its annual exhibition at La Bugade. For this seventh edition, the public will be invited to discover D'une cellule l'autre, an exhibition bringing together four visual artists: Arnaud Vasseux, Mathilde Geldhof, Raphaël Tiberghien and Won Jy.
